It works well. 2010 Mustang with evaporator leak. Would take about two weeks to lose cooling ability. Installed the product about three months ago and AC still blowing cold. Did not use oil injector. The five foot yellow manifold hose holds just about the entire bottle so with a totally full hose there is no air to get in the system. Use the R134A can to push it into the system. Worked great.
Forgot to mention I used the 2oz bottle not the aerosol.

We are glad to hear of the results you got with Red Angel A/C Stop Leak! Once the product seals, it would be a permanent seal, so you should be good to go at this point. We appreciate your feedback!

I injected 2 Oz of Redangel stop leak .Then figured out my compressor wasn’t engaged .I jumped the relay connection and the clutch did not engage. I’m looking for the next move.

Did you try adding a partial charge of refrigerant to see if the compressor would engage? Do you know where your leak is coming from? Please contact our technical support line at 888-863-0426 so that we may assist you further.

Can red angel be added after sysrem is full in which leak was found with dye? Does it matter how much is in system when not using gauges? R Z

    • BlueDevil Pro on February 15, 2016 at 10:31 am

      Robert-

You definitely do not want to overcharge the system. The can of Red Angel A/C Stop Leak contains 2.5 ounces of R-134a.

Red Angel will not harm or damage any shop equipment; we guarantee this. The product is reclaimed with the oil.

      Thank you!

Can I use r134 that has top leak in it as well such as ac pro? Will it interfere with red angel working effectively?

    • BlueDevil Pro on May 16, 2016 at 3:24 pm

      Jeremy-

We do not recommend mixing 2 stop leaks together within your A/C system. You should use regular R-134a (without stop leak) if you are adding Red Angel A/C Stop Leak to your A/C system.

      Thank you!

    • Rick on August 10, 2019 at 10:03 am

If the AC Compressor was not engaged when fill the Red Angel will it still work? Can you use more that one Aerosol can? Is that recommended?

      • BlueDevil Pro on August 12, 2019 at 9:49 am

        Rick-

The compressor would need to engage in order for the Red Angel to work. The Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak (Aerosol can) contains 2.5 oz. of R-134a, so it would be enough refrigerant to get the compressor going. One can would be enough product to treat up to a 5 lb. system.

        Thank you!

Can Red Angel be used in a hydrocarbon-filled system? I replaced the R-12 in my vehicle with Duracool 12a Hydrocarbon. I have a leak which I am unable to locate using a sniffer or dyes. Will Red Angel properly mix with Duracool?

    • BlueDevil Pro on August 29, 2018 at 10:44 am

      Dave-

Yes, the Red Angel A/C Stop Leak (https://store.gobdp.com/a-c-stop-leak-49496/) is safe and compatible to use with Duracool. As long as the vehicle isn’t losing refrigerant too quickly, and the leak is not coming from the compressor, you would be a good candidate for the product.

Is there a differance between the two cans, one has a red ban around the top the other doesn’t. If so what is it. Thank you, Nick

    • BlueDevil Pro on October 25, 2018 at 8:55 am

      Nicholas-

The Red Angel A/C Stop Leak (Aerosol can) is a one shot application, and contains 2.5 ounces of R-134a to give the system a partial charge, along with 2 ounces of the stop leak. The Red Angel A/C Stop Leak (2 oz. bottle) does not contain any refrigerant, it is simply the stop leak additive. Feel free to contact our technical support line at 888-863-0426 with any other questions.

      Thank you!

That was not my question, I want to know why you have two cans one with a red stripe around the top the other is plain, look at the top of this page and is there any difference in content. Nicholas

        • BlueDevil Pro on October 29, 2018 at 10:13 am

          Nicholas-

One of the cans of Red Angel that you have purchased may have an older label on it. The contents of the two cans are identical. We have updated the product label a few times over the years.

Is this product safe to be in the truck after using? Specially after using can a child be in the truck? And how long do I need to leave the truck on after using ?

    • BlueDevil Pro on February 18, 2019 at 9:17 am

      Mac-

Activated at the leak point only, Red Angel will not crystalize with existing oxygen or moisture in the system. After repair is achieved, Red Angel will continue to lubricate and condition working parts. The product can be utilized as a repair, preventative maintenance or to warranty hard part replacement against future leak points. After the product is added (3-5 minutes), you may then top the system off with refrigerant.

  9. Kurt on March 30, 2019 at 7:01 pm

I have an ac 134a system that has completely leaked out its refrigerant. Would you recommend the bottle or can? How would you recommend the system be refilled along with your product. Also, can the bottle be poured in or does it need to be injected somehow.

    • BlueDevil Pro on April 1, 2019 at 9:54 am

      Kurt-

Using the Red Angel A/C Stop Leak (https://gobdp.com/product/ac-stop-leak/) would require the use of an oil injector to install the product. The Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak (https://gobdp.com/product/ac-refrigerant-stop-leak/) is a one shot application, which comes with coupler to attach to the low side service port, and contains a partial charge of R-134a. With the use of either, you would add the product to the system once it has been evacuated. You may top it off with refrigerant after installing the Red Angel.

      Thank you!

  14. Thomas on June 3, 2020 at 10:55 am

Hi my car was filled with refrigerant one evening and the AC was nice and cold during my ten minutes commute home.
The next morning I had no AC, will this product be able to fix the leak if it’s from the evaporator? Thanks

    • BlueDevil Pro on June 3, 2020 at 1:35 pm

      Thomas-

Yes, the Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak would be able to treat a leaking evaporator. Make sure the system is evacuated prior to adding the product. You should allow the system to run for at least 15 minutes after the Red Angel is added and the system is recharged. At that point, the system should be completely sealed.

      Thank you!

Last October my mechanic installed Red Angel in my 2000 MB E-55 AMG. The left side condenser leaked, and put out only outside temp air, while the passenger side worked fine. Ten months after repair, both sides put out 38.4F degrees on max cold setting. I highly recommend this product.

    • BlueDevil Pro on August 14, 2020 at 9:06 am

      Vern-

Thank you for sharing! We are very glad to hear the Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak was able to seal the condenser leak on your Mercedes Benz. Once the product seals it would be a permanent seal, so you should be good to go at this point. This is a great testimonial, we appreciate your feedback.

  17. Geon Yu on October 15, 2020 at 3:31 am

    Hi,

I plan to use Red Angel Stop Leak on my car that has a A/C leak (loses cold air about 7 days after recharge). Just want to make sure the process is:

    – Evacuate the system (Question: how can the system be evacuated when it’s leaking?)
    – Apply Red Angel Stop Leak
    – Recharge R134a as needed
    – Let the A/C run for 15min

Please confirm if my understanding is current or if I miss anything.
    Thanks!
    Geon

    • BlueDevil Pro on October 16, 2020 at 8:29 am

      Geon-

Yes, it does seem you understand the process of using the Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak. It is important that the system is at at least partially depleted, if not completely evacuated, to ensure you have enough room to add the product. Keep in mind, your A/C can start blowing warm even if you are a tad bit low on refrigerant, so that would not indicate that the system is low enough to add the Red Angel.

      Thank you!

From Singapore here….where and how can I get one locally? Do you have any authorized dealers?

Also, I have a small leak in my cooling coil (Chevy aveo5) ….I noticed this after 3 months of good aircon. So I would like to try this….will it work with cooling coil leak?

    • BlueDevil Pro on October 18, 2021 at 10:21 am

      Jey-

Thank you for asking about your Chevy Aveo. The Red Angel A/C Refrigerant Stop Leak repairs leak points in condensers, evaporators, connection hoses, gaskets and o-rings. It would not be intended for a leaking compressor.
We do not currently have a distributor in Singapore, however, you are able to purchase the product on Amazon.

Yes, the Red Angel A/C Stop Leak is safe and compatible to use in your Nissan Pathfinder with R1234YF. The product would be able to seal a condenser leak.

  21. Eric on July 30, 2023 at 6:39 am

How low PSI does the system have to be to add the red angel if you have no way to vacuum it yourself?

    • BlueDevil Pro on July 31, 2023 at 9:03 am

      Eric-

The system would need to be evacuated or partially depleted in order to allow enough room for the Red Angel. You could measure the refrigerant level, and if it appears to be low, you should be able to add the Red Angel and subsequently, top it off with refrigerant.

      Thank you!

  22. Jay on September 2, 2023 at 7:16 pm

Can multiple 2oz applications of Red Angel stop leak be applied to a system with a cracked evaporator that leaks a full charge of refrigerant in one day, After one application of the Red Angel I can still hear refrigerant leaking when in the cabin as there is a hissing sound until it all leaks out.

    • BlueDevil Pro on September 5, 2023 at 10:06 am

      Jay-

It is not one of those things where more of the product would be better. Unfortunately, it sounds as though you are losing refrigerant too quickly for the Red Angel to be of any benefit. Replacing the evaporator may be your best option.

      Thank you!
